How we sell

Buying vegetables from a grower

Most vegetables reaching a Malaysian buyer have passed through at least one pair of hands between the field and the invoice. That is not always a problem — a good wholesaler carries range and holds stock. But it does mean the person selling to you generally cannot tell you when the crop was cut, how it was fed, or whether the pick was a clean single-window cut or a row cleared in one pass.

We can, because we grew it. That is the whole difference here, and it matters most on crops where timing changes the product. Bitter gourd cut a day late is a different vegetable. Chilli held overnight before grading loses gloss. Eggplant bruises once and shows it the next day.

Why fertigation

Our crops are grown in polybags under an AB Mix fertigation programme rather than in open soil. Nutrient goes in through the irrigation line, so feeding happens when the plant is drawing water instead of on a calendar.

The visible result for a buyer is uniformity. Fruit size varies less, misshapen culls are fewer, and a crate looks more like the crate before it. For anyone portioning by piece — restaurants especially — that consistency is worth more than a marginally lower price on a mixed load.

Grading and handling

We grade on the things that actually change how a vegetable is used: length, straightness and skin condition. Not every buyer needs the top grade. Someone cooking bitter gourd down for soup does not need the straight fruit a restaurant needs for even slices, and should not pay for it.

Tell us how you process the crop and we will supply to match, rather than sending one grade and letting you sort it.

Seasonality

Some crops here run continuously; others come in windows. Where a crop is between harvests, its card says so along with the expected date, and we take advance enquiries against it. We would rather tell you December than sell you something today that will not be right.

Collection and delivery

Self-collection at Sendayan gets you the freshest handover and the best price, since you are taking the transport out of the figure. We also deliver within Seremban and the surrounding area. Further afield, ask — it depends on volume and on what else is going that way.

How pricing works

We do not publish prices. It is not evasion; it is that a single number would be wrong for most people reading it. The figure moves with volume, with collection versus delivery, and with payment terms. A buyer collecting 500kg on cash terms and a buyer wanting weekly delivery on 30-day terms are not buying the same thing, and one price cannot serve both honestly.

Send an enquiry with what you need and how you want it handled, and we will quote against that. For standing orders it is worth a short conversation about timing first, so the picking cycle can be planned around your delivery days.

Tell us your volume, we will quote

Every price here is quoted, so wholesale and single-farm buyers get terms that fit rather than a shelf price.
