More systems and case studies
We are writing these up as each one is commissioned and running. If you want detail on a system before it has its own page, ask — we can talk you through what we have installed so far.
We run the systems we sell
FarmFusion is a working grower before it is a supplier. The fertigation systems we install are the same ones running our own polybag operations at Sendayan. When we specify a dosing schedule or a filtration setup, it is one we use ourselves and have had to fix when it went wrong.
That is the difference between buying a system from us and buying one from a catalogue. A supplier can tell you what a component does. We can tell you what it does in the Malaysian climate, on a site with your water quality, three seasons in.
Farm design
Most problems on a small farm are designed in before anything is planted. Rows laid out without thinking about how a crate gets to the road. A water source that is adequate in March and marginal in July. A growing house sited where it takes afternoon sun on the wrong face.
We survey the site and design around what it actually is — slope, drainage, water source and volume, road access, and what you intend to grow. The output is a layout you can build from, not a sketch.
Design and build
Where you want the whole thing handled, we build it. Growing structures, polybag layout, water storage, the irrigation and fertigation system, and commissioning to the point where the crop is in and the schedule is running.
Lead time depends on scale and on what is already on site. A small extension to an existing operation is measured in weeks; a new build from bare land is longer and depends on ground works you may want to handle separately.
Irrigation and fertigation systems
We supply and install drip irrigation and fertigation. A system is a pump, filtration, dosing, a distribution network, and control — and the part that most often gets under-specified is filtration, because it is the part nobody sees until emitters start blocking.
We size the system to the crop and the water. Borehole water with high iron needs a different setup from mains or captured rain. Chilli under a fruiting schedule draws differently from leafy crops. Getting that right at design stage costs nothing; getting it wrong costs a season.
We also supply components and consumables to farms running systems they installed themselves — emitters, filters, dosing equipment, replacement line.
Why fertigation
Feeding through the irrigation line puts nutrient at the root when the plant is drawing water, rather than broadcasting it on a calendar. In our own chilli that has meant tighter control through the vegetative and fruiting phases than any granular schedule gave us.
It also removes a labour line that quietly dominates a small farm's costs. Two people broadcasting fertiliser across twelve thousand polybags is a full day. A dosing schedule is a settings change.
How to start
Send an enquiry with the site location, roughly what area you are working with, what you intend to grow, and your water source. For anything beyond component supply we will want to visit before quoting — a design done from a description rather than a site visit is a guess.
Tell us your volume, we will quote
Every price here is quoted, so wholesale and single-farm buyers get terms that fit rather than a shelf price.
